ok ima big fan of honda three wheelers and my buddy owns 1....he wants to trade me his 86 250r the header is a lil messed up and needs a new as with the silencer needs tires and rims (not a neccesity) other than that its a good bike...i got a 85 tecate 3 thats in immaculant condition..now should i trade him seein as hondas are better:naughty:..give me *Edited**Edited* imput plzz..thanks

I wouldnt do it, the 250r may be easier to fix and mod, but tecates are SICK!

Who said the R is ragged out? It has a trashed headpipe and silencer and might need tires. Its the better all around machine and way easier to get used parts for. Hit atc250r in ebaymotors and compare how many pages of parts come up vs the tecate.

IMO its a great trade. That Tecate is a nice machine but stock they leave something to be desired. Mod it and heck yeah they make you cream but the R is just such a nice all around machine that it'd be hard to pass up.

If mine was near stock in good shape I'd take that trade.
