since they say it flipped I'll bet he popped a wheelie, went on the grab bar crooked and flipped like that. Sad to see. Atleast he had a helmet on
Dammit!

10 bucks says it was a 185 or 200cc hardtail.
that sucks, I hate hearing about that. he even had a helmet on, I bet there are so many variables to that story no one will ever really know how it happended, except the kids that were with him. Does any one from the OTC crew know him or his parents?

Because it happened on the ATC. They didnt say it was a death trap or anything just said he flipped a 3 wheeler and died

ITs usually Sad to hear of somone getting killed in an ORV accident. I feel sorry for the family of anyone who has passed in such a way and for that of the no longer living as long as drugs alcohol or extreme ignorance is not involved.

it is sad, i did catch a few key words though, wasnt afraid of anything, atv racer + 3 wheeler he may have never road. i to bet it was somthing that could of be a little to big for him, he could of had a treack at his home and been jumping it...i am sure they will never say what really happened but the lil dude is gone.

Quote: "The boy had been wearing a helmet and traveling an estimated 40 mph prior to the crash."
40mph on a three wheeler with no suspension, or any ATV with no suspension, and being that light, is not a good idea over bumps.
If I ride my 110 too fast on a frozen lake, which is VERY flat, the slightest bump (couple of inches) will throw you, if you are not ready. You need all your strength to keep going straight.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. :(
