How Often or when do you change the Oil Filter on the - Honda ATC 350X

How long does it take to adjust the Valves ?

Any tips on adjusting the valves ?

Then while holding the guage, tighten the lock nut on the adjuster. Thats the same method with each valve. Then put it back togeather and you are done. Adjusting the valves makes starting easyer and the engine run smoother/quieter.

Dont hold the guage at that part, Hold the "needle nose" If you tighten the locknut witout holding the adjuster part it will tighten up. I also wouldnt use needlenose use a small crecent wrench. I check my valves every 6 months. Its easy and dosnt take any speical tools. .003 is the stock setting and is what honda recomends. I set mine a bit bigger to draw more top end power and rpm's, Tighter will give you more torque. but dot stray form the .003 very much.

When checking make shure the engine is at TDC, this is extremely important.

I change my oil after every ride and filter everyother time i change my oil. I would rather keep it fresh then rebuild the engine.

Depends on how much i ride. Im always doing something to it so i set it diffrently and see if i like it better. I have had times where 1 ride and i check them and they arnt perfect like i like. It all depends on how anal you want to be about it. I would at least check them once a year.
