I never noticed before but all the 110s I see have no front brake hub.
Any guesses why Honda didnt put brakes on the 110s? Seems weird since the 125Ms have them. :wondering

No need for them? They are barely capable of climbing any decent sized hills, so why would they need to go down any. Actually I dont know, I wondered that about my 79' too.

Didn't have them on the 90's either. It probably didn't weigh enough for the rear brake to need any help.

Maybe it was a small attempt to keep the cost down. Although, safety is too important to skimp on to keep costs down. They arent fast, but they go fast enough to need all the brakes you can get when heading towards that stump(or root! Louis!) in the trail. IDK~ :wondering

I used to wonder the same thing as I slid down the cliff, with my rear brakes locked up all the way down.

But seriously, my 110 had no brakes for 15 years, who needs a front?

Just thinking about it..I rarely used my front brake on my 250R. I use my rear a lot more. Do the same on motorcycles and my bike.

Maybe it is just me?

I favor the front a lot except going down hills and i hate the fact mine doest have it. Its kinda scetchy trying to use the rears backing off of a hill that you couldnt make.

The only advantage I see is it keeps you from locking up the front wheel when breaking in turn maintaining control of the bike. Also thats one of the main upgrades for the 125M slightly bigger cc, electric start, front brake.

The 90's and 110's were much earlier machines and front brakes were a later "innovation".
