October 1st 2007, Fee structure in place for Ocala National Forest. Since I got my 250r last September it is amazing how much has changed. I hope the money collected goes to the trail system, they say 95% will.

i like what wilburz said ....
[ I won't be dropping a penny for that dumb permit. as a matter of fact, i hope the trail tenders pick up my empty cans as that will be all they will be getting from me that is worth anything. unreal. what is next? probably have to pay for a guide to ride those lame trails next year. what a joke. ]
Dammit!

I noticed they say $75 a year PER OPERATOR. That sucks nuts if it's per rider and not per vehicle entering the campgrounds. At the dunes we pay per truck/rv/trailer basically whatever you roll into camp driving regardless of how many atvs/bikes/rails and riders you're hauling. We're supposed to have a permit sticker on each OHV also. That's a seperate fee.
Imperial Sand Dunes season pass: $90
Yearly ATV permit: $20 each
The $20 sticker is very loosely enforced. I've never been checked for one.

Floirda is getting rough. It will not be long until there is nothing left for off roaders. The bad part is there is plenty of good ridable land down there. But for one reason or another it is closed off. I am glad I left that damn state. Now I live in a new state I am starting to hate. I hope I can get out west soon.

All these damn tree huggers, ruining everything. Before you know it, it'll be just like big cypress and you wont even be able to drive BY the forest in a car or truck on a paved road

That is what Florida is turning into. Before all the northerners moved in and changed it, Florida was a great place to be an outdoorsman.
