3 wheeler horsepower ?

I'm not sure if i heard it on here or where to be exact, but can anybody tell me if there was ever a manufactures agreement to not make any 3 wheeler or 4 wheeler that produced over a certain amount of HP that could sold to the public. Somewhere I thought i heard someone say that 48 HP was the max amount of HP any stock machine could have and still be available to the public. Has anyone ever heard this before. I mean even back 15 yrs ago ?? thanks

If people had not thought they were so dangerous I think today we would have 700cc trikes like the yamaha quads, funny what mass hysteria does. I know of three people allready this year that have broken backs or necks on quads at my local riding spot.

Nobody's heard this before? I don't remember if I read it or heard it somewhere but I called my local dealer thinking they might of known anything and they said they have not heard anything since they have been in business for 25 years. I was hoping someone on here would of heard of this , maybe I just had a bad dream on it.:wondering

Its top stock spped. I think its 76, But I can remember. My kfx has 49 HP stock.
