if i didnr have my bassani id be running a dg. my fathers dx is running a cobra that is only about 2 years old and its starting to sound like crap. my brother 125 is running some kind of dg that is about the same age as the cobra and it still sounds pretty good. but personally i would search e-bay and talk to some 3ww members to see if you can find a bassani.

I've run the aluminum and the steel cobra pipes on my 86 200X, the steel one is definitely a gay piece o crap. The aluminum one sounds much better but has to be repacked every couple of months. Right now I'm using a White Bros universal E series and it is awesome. I had to use the cobra headpipe and about a quarter of the other headpipe from the other cobra to make it work. Also, I used a copper headpipe to muffler gasket from a Yamaha FJR1300 so that my headpipe would fit into the muffler without leaking. I also had to stretch the intake of the muffler to make the gasket fit inside. Definitely worth all the work though because now I have a tunable muffler.

It'll be a couple of weeks before I can post those pics of the exhaust. It's sitting in my old shop up in Wisconsin as we speak. When Joey moved down here he said he'd bring my whole trike, but ended up bringing my roller and my bottom end, a quadsport cylinder and head, no exhaust, no carb, no hardware, and no airfilter. So bare with me. He's goin back next week and picking up my motorcycle and quadsport and the rest of my s**t for my poor 200X. I'll make sure I post pics for you guys so others can run this sweet setup.
