well The other day I got my 200x back togather and running, but i decided to put my stock exhaust back on it to quite it down some, so I put the stock jet back in. well anyways the dang thing is a pain to start, most the time I have to pull it behind my 4 wheeler and pop the clutch and it fires right up, but when I kick it, the thing fires up for like a second or 2 then dies. But when It starts up it runs perfect, Yesterday I put a new plug in it and went rode for about a hour and came back and checked the plug and it was black, but it has the stock size jet in, I figured it would be running alittle lean becuase I have a webb cam in it and a high comp piston but I guess im wrong, any ideas guys?

do you think messing with the air/fuel screw would make a difference, and does anyone know what the screw is supposed to be set at?

2 1/4 quarter turns may not be exactly what your bike wants, but is a solid reference point to start with. your air/fuel adjustment changes with elevation, humidity, temp, etc. You could also pop off your airbox lid and see if it makes a difference in the way it starts, it may give you an idea of how rich/lean you actually are running.
