84 and 85 200M the same?

Does anyone know if the engines are interchangeable between the 1984 and 1985 ATC200M? Thanks.

Yes they are - as far as I know the ONLY difference is tank decals.

Thanks, has anyone actually physically done this. I found an 85 motor, I just hate to find out it doesn't work because of bolt holes, etc.

the 85 might be 5 shifts up whereas the 84 is 5 shifts down...i know this was the case with the 200s and they are the same motors minus the electric start.
