flames from exhaust?

hey what would cause flames from the exhaust when u let off the throttle on an 87 125M ?? it has TONS of power. although it does burn oil

well problem is according to the spark plug its perfect? under the oil its golden tan colored? does it hurt it to shoot the flames out? or would it be ok for a month untill i finish my KLT and start on it?

yep i must agree. i just put a 22mm carb on my little brothers atc 90 engine and i i jetted way up so i wouldnt burn it up. well it was throwing flames till i leaned it out. try backing the air screw out 1/4 turn.
