Ended up getting a 03 blaster

After looking at a few 2000 blasters this weekend that were trashed, my brother decided to spend a little extra and just get the 03. It's a nice looking bike; the hydro disk breaks are a great addition! I've ridden my friends 02 and there is no comparison. Also the new headlight makes it look much more up to date. I'll post a pic or 2 of it tomorrow.

I picked 1 up about a month ago. I finally made it through 3 tanks of gas so for the first time I started getting on it a bit last weekend. I am running Bluemarble oil through it to help ease the smoke for those that are behind on the trails. The machine has really started to come alive. It can be surprising at times when it kicks it. The front breaks are awesome!!! They have serious stopping power in all conditions for such a cheap machine. I already ordered new tires for the rear as I cannot stand the high flex balloon tires that come on it. Besides the fact that under load it sounds as if its going to self destruct, it seems to be a fun little machine that scoots along well, and is more fun in the air than a BMX bike.

I got the Black and Red. It looks awesome new, but damn does the black look like ^%&^^ after a few times actually riding.

i am think about geting a 01 blaster with pro series pipe, new reeds razer tires and has been bored 45 over is this a good deal at a $1900 ?

If everything else is in good shape that doesn't sound to bad, but definatly offer less and see if they'll take it. The only thing I find strange is that it's bored 45 over already, that seems a lot for an 01. Make sure you check everything out good and take it for a test spin, if all goes well i'd go for it. I like the new blasters. set of AL rims and nice tires would make it even better.

I totally agree, i'm not a big fan of those ballon tires on the rear.

i am geting the predator now i just figer it's better to just spend more and get the best.. and i feel that this is the wheeler for me. but i also enjoy my xplorer 4+4 that can be much fun on the trial when you come upon a huge mud hole. and you end up pulling your riding buddy out. :D
