On my '85 Tecate, I just rebuilt the whole trike, to include rebuilding the calipers and rear master cylinder and new pads. My rear brakes work fine, but I would like more stopping power on the rear. The fronts grab hard, but the rears are lacking. I just bought some cheap pads off ebay when I was rebuilding it as the total cost became quit high and I'm cheap at heart.

Anyway this thing takes too long to haul down from high speed running. It's been okay so far, but if I had to stop in a hurry I'd be in trouble.

So who makes the best brake pads? I put EBC sintered on most of mine when I replace, but don't really know if they are the best or not. Does anyone make a racing brake pad for the Tecate? I searched on the internet and came across a company called Goldfren, anybody heard of them? Their pads have some ceramic in the mix, which for cars would be a good thing, but trikes, who knows?

Thanks, Chris
