Anyone ever do this? I did while I was in Austin. Whole time I was there all I could think about was damn the Tecate would be fun in here!

A couple 70's with Kart rims/tires would be real fun on the concrete track. :naughty:

I remember when they were closing one of the workers took out this Kart on steroids. That thing could boogie. A 12hp 70 would be pretty fast inside there, imagine a 200X powered one! Just don't tell anyone yours makes 20hp and mop the place with it. :D

Couple pics of the place in Austin I found online since I can't put my film ones up.

yup ive done it. we have a place near us called fast freddies. the carts at the place near me have 12hp briggs on them and they are not restricted. meaning there is no governor on them. however they do have a remote kill. so ive learned to fallow the rules on them.

they are a blast. i loved it. they drift very nice.

There is one of those indoor kart tracks down near my buddy in Hollywood Florida. Killer fun times. Best time to go is during the week during the school day. Had the track to just ourselves. I thought what it would be like to run the suspension 70's on the track and my buddy said the same thing. Maybe get blue27 and HRC200x and have the battle of the suspension 70s'. Oh yeah Kasey too, but his machine is almost too tricked out! LOL

There is a national chain that has gocarts that are nice and fast. They give you a printout of all your lap times and then how you rank for the day. Can't think of the name right now. They have one in Des Moines Ia, Virginia Beach Va, and Richmond Va. That I have been to.
I ran couple of oval races indoors back in the 80's on concrete and one with dirt jumps (2-3ft tall). I didn't think I would like it, but it was great. You can pitch it sideways in the turns and you know you would not flip sideways. May spin out, but you had to use throttle controll.
A 16 inch tire would be ideal. Also bleach and burn your tires in for max traction.
