I think the store is rpm atv. it looks like theyre parting a nice 86 200X. It seems every piece of the trike has a bid on it. Are the factory plastics the same for the 86 and 87s? I noticed the 86 seat has the honda 200X stenciled on. Is my 87 suppose to have it? Im thinking of bidding on the fenders and seat to make my other trike nicer. I know Im trying to sell them, but when the stuff becomes available, I might not hurt to buy it. jim

Well Jim, not that I don't love my fellow members but I HATE when someone posts about mint auctions that I'm bidding on!!!!!!
No sweat, I'm just teasin... I got what I wanted out of it. That guy has all the best parts EVER!!
Anyhow, I'm posting because I wanted you to see what a nice 86 could bring in, let alone an 87. Between the axle, fender, seat and tank he brought in well above a grand!! Thats without the 40 other auctions that got bid on.... Had had to bring in 3000$ minimum...
The problem with that guy is that he ends them all at the same time (The way he lists lists them) and it makes it hard for guys like me to snipe... But I won 5 of 7 items I wanted and they are all right next to new......

Awww, so that was you huh? I was watching but not bidding. Seems to me those 86's are starting to get rather popular lately and competition on ebay has gotten fierce. I'm glad those parts got into good hands.

Yeah, I have won ALLOT of good parts this year and for great prices :D . I got a MINT MINT MINT rear 86 carrier for like 52$ or something, saw another grab almost 200$ awhile back. That is one part that is very hard to find for the 86 and I have 3 excellent ones now :naughty: I simply will not bid on the tanks, seat and fenders as they are just way too stupid prices for something I'm gonna jump, scratch and not be real careful of

i figured but my 185 isnt gona be exactly stock.... right now i got a pair of 200x forks on it and was thinking about finding a rear swing arm and rear shock for the back. but i also wana know what kind of tank might fit on there better because with the 200x forks in order for me to get a decent turning radius i have to chop the tank almost in half. which wouldnt be very good for capacity.

Leave that 185 mostly as it is....
If you want better suspension etc etc, get a 200X 83-85 are cheap and tons of parts. 86/87 are AWESOME and can still be found reasonable....

well Im pretty set on modifying this one at the moment... i don't like to just leave something "stock" originally i was going to try find a 200x but there are hard to come by. and plus my dad made a killer 185 for flat track racing that was unbeatable. i kinda wanna do the same. whats the problem with tricking out a 185 anyway? also i had two 85 250r's already so if i wanted a race machine i would buy one back.
