I just had 2 of my parts listings removed, for no apparent reason. Then I read the message from ebay- the listings were removed because I am not allowed to accept CASH as payment!!!! WTF!?!?!?!?!?!? Here is the message they sent:

Because cash payments do not offer the same level of protection and convenience as online payment methods, members are generally not permitted to accept cash as a payment method on eBay. Sellers are permitted to accept cash on delivery (COD) but only for in-person transactions. Personal checks, money orders, cashier?s checks, certified checks, and bank-to-bank transfers are also permitted.

This is absolutely ludicrous. Cash is legal tender in the USA, and if I want to accept it as payment for my goods who the hell cares? Anybody else have this problem? I'm in shock here. What the hell are they thinking??? Who thinks up this crap??:wondering

it does suck, yes, but i can see why they would do that, its too easy for the buyer to say "hey i sent him cash and i never got my merchandise", or the seller could just say "hey he was supposed to send me cash and i never got it" when he knows damn well that he got it
if they did allow it they would constantly be havin these problems and it would be alot of BS, theres alot of scammers out there!

That is why I canceled ebay. Won't use it anymore.
They make money on listing, end of auction fees and if someone pay pals you, they make money off of that.
Cannot make a buck on ebay anymore without jamming the buyer.

How lame!! They want to have a better chance of people using Paypal, so they can make more.

i stopped using e-bay for the same reason. i sent them a e-mail saying i was going to take my selling elsewhere and how their fees are so dam high. i got a reply pretty much telling me tough crap if i dont like the fees. so i figure screw them i sell/trade on 3ww now. i actually like dealing with most of the guys on here.

Ebay is crap, i dont want to give a website my credit card number, sorry ebay. I gave up on ebay the day they demanded that. I bought a hockey stick on there 4 months ago on my fathers account, and thats it. Ebay is a pile of bullshit.

the bad thing is it's the only place you can make any money selling atc parts. ive had way better luck selling parts on there then threw the site.

ive gotten alot of cheap smoking deals also on trx250r parts some atc stuff also. thats way better then from people on here. i just won a 350x bottom end for $1 shipping was $65 . you just have to watch ebay for awhile and the good deals show up just dont buy the 1st one of whatever part you need.

one thing on ebay is never use a reserve when your selling something you pay extra for that just start it whatever your minumun you'll take is. saves some coin
i sell toyota truck parts on the and make alot off that and extra atv stuff i dont need
