Okay, I don't have pics, but you'll get the idea. I had a wave of inspiration after riding behind newer quads that have working brakelights. When I rebuilt my Tecate I wired in an LED taillight and a headlight. Over the course of the last 7 months of riding the Tecate has eaten 4 headlights. I can't get anything to live in the harsh vibration environment that is the Tecate forks, so this past weekend I took the last dead headlight off and threw it away.

Now for brakelights. The LED taillight is holding up great and LEDs don't really take any power to speak of to run. I ordered a banjo bolt brake switch and installed it in the rear mastercylinder. I grounded the LED light to the grab handle mounts along with the negative lead on a 9-volt battery. The positive lead on the 9-volt battery runs to the banjo switch and then to the LED lights positive lead...presto when I press on the rear brake pedal...I've got brake lights. It's a beautiful thing.

I put the 9-volt battery in the little Honda 110 tool box I have mounted left-side below my grab handle.

Works pretty good so far and maybe it'll keep the newer quad riders, who are used to seeing brake lights, from running up under your rearend on fast trails.
