Yeah yeah, there 22 years old but.....

I've had my share of holding on with my knees for life style crashes and put some large knee shaped dents in tanks but:

Why do all the tanks that are available for sale look like the wife smashed them with a hammer because you wouldn't fix the screen door or it got rocks thrown at it because you missed your sons little league game. I mean, most of them are smashed to chit all over the place.

What or how are you guys beating these tanks up so badly????

7 times end over end down a 65 degree slope amongst the rocks.

Its mainly from the knees. buy a tank and ride your machine for 22 years and you will have the same dents in the tank. I bought mine and put about 400 into it and it looks like crap already.

I agree with poster #2. Most of this is from rolling down a hill or flipping while the guy was trying to drift or something.

I guess I don't crash enough, LOL!! Some of these tanks are just so beat up it seems like they were physically abused!!

Haha. If guess the reason you only see dented tanks for sale is because everyone has the non-dented tanks on there bikes, and if they own a dented tank they figure they might as well see if they can sell it for a few $ and put it towards a better one.

Other than that I would agree with your original thought, crashes and abuse.

Dammit!

Some of them might have spent some time off the bike, laying around a shop or scrap yard getting kicked all over the place too.

He didnt fix the screen door, he didnt fix the gate, he didnt fix the roof, sink, toilet, drapery's, and while the footbal game was on it mysteriously appearred on the tank... However I have found now it is much more effective to slightly unplug the CDI so that when they are riding the machine mysteriously dies, and they are screaming and yelling WTF whilst jumping up and down wildly with blubbering, splittle dropping down their very red faces, trying to get what they now call the stupid son of a @#%^# started much more entertaining..:naughty:

Even better is to shut the fuel off when they are taking a break (but you get caught easier with that one) that really pisses em off.
