my honda 185s revs up as soon as i start it what could be the problem i stays at like half throttle

look for an air leak on the intake manifold. Spray WD-40 around it and if it misses or you can tell its sucking you found your problem

Make sure the throttle cable isn't too tight and pulling the slide up. Try turning your idle screw down.

now that you mention it there is a small crack in the intake manifold could that be the problem

I blew up my ytm200 twice now because of a crack in my intake manifold. If it revs up and takes a long time to idle down low, you got a leak in it. Be careful with it cause your leaning out your engine. Good luck...

if you need an intake let me know. i have 1 or 2 of em. yea it could cause it to rev up. but i would try to clean the carb and knock the idle down with the idle screw. also as mentioned above... make sure the cable is all freed up and not all bound up and stuff.

i did all that it has to be that crack

start it up and spray WD-40 around that crack. That will give you a definate answer
