I personally like the clean stock look, but you should really have 2. One stock and one custom. Then you don't feel guilty about messin with the stocker.

I agree with clutchcargo.... In my opinion the stock/ orginal looks better than custom. Butl like cr480r said then do custom the way you like it....

An oem restore will cost alot of mulaa. If you customize it you wont be afraid to ride it and break things.

I like to keep the factory look that way people can tell exactly what it is at the dirt drags when your smoking them  heres a pic of my dragtrike, when I repainted everything I just found a color that was very similar to stock and I even replaced the wings on the tank with stock type decals.

i love a custom ride. a custom ride shows the personality of the owner. they also have great detail that can set it off. i also like stock but once you see one you have seen em all.

I prefer custom. This is my 1986 250R.

With my 350x I'm going to keep it stock looking but not 100% original since it will be a rider.

custom all the way. I dont like the stock look, I do it how I want everything to be. DIfferent colors and little things always end up on my trikes.

I agree with clutchcargo. Personally, I like the stock look.:TrikesOwn Some custom mods look pretty mean and cool, and others are..well..not so pretty.
i.e. I have axle extensions (wheel spacers) for my 250r. When I have my 22" dirt tires on it makes the bike look pretty mean. But as soon as I stick my smaller paddle tires on, it just makes the bike look weird and out of proportion, like something doesn't really fit. Then again, my likes are different that anothers, and you can't please everyone. Plus, its always easier for a buyer to know exactly what he is buying if it is in all stock form, compared to heavily modded. In a few years down the road when basically all parts will be discontinued for our 3-wheelers, I think a mint stock bikes will climb even more in price, due to the fact that its OEM and discontinued.
