hi all.

i need a new crankshaft for my 84 250R trike.
i tore it apart, and the crank that is in it looks like a stroker crank out of a 85-86 250r. it looks nothing like the factory crank.

i was wondering if anyone knows the difference between the 84 crank and the 85-86 crank.

would a 85 stroker crank fit into a 84 case. obviously the stroker needs a spacer plate between the jug and the case.

What is the stroke on the 84 model? i think the 85-87 is 72mm stock. Did this bike run with this set up? Get Pics!!!

the crank from a liquid wont work in the air, you may have a old stroker kit, could just send the crank out to get rebuilt

i would love to have it rebuilt....but the peckerhead that owned it before me welded the press-in crankshaft pin into place......and the crank had been custom stroked becasue the factory crank holes have been plugged and welded and the new crank pin holes drilled on the opposite side of the crank.

so i dont know what the sroke is currently.

im looking for a new stroker kit for my 84, but i cant even find any references.......finding all kinds of stuff for the 85-86 models though :/

any ideas on where to get a new/god used stroker crank? (yes, im checking ebay all the time :)
