I was talkin with a freind this evening and we got onto a discussion about the fact, that, I am stupid? and No one in their right mind would build a Drag R, or dump money into a big bore? and that no one who owns a threewheeler goes any farther thena pipe, silencer, and air lid.... This convo broke out because i just took delivery of a 400cc Pro-x Stroker 250R motor (bore 80.5 stroke 77). Who all has big bores? even 350x's to! (Another freind wants to build a 392X!
thanks guys
Adam

Sounds like you have a Idiot on your hands!!! That motor looks awesome!! I know mines got either a big bore (unlikely tho), stroke, or a mill. Whichever one its got makes it riiiip. You gotta be out of your mind if you dont wanna take an R motor further, and a drag bikes just the next step up. Why does this guy think your crazy for doing this???

Then slap him a few times and tell him that hes outta his mind because he still uses training wheels!!!

I just threw up a little looking at that motor. I can't imagine what one of those costs. Go big or go home though right? Good luck with your build bro. Cant wait to see it.

Nah, its ugly. Especially when you compare it to trikes like Mosh's TRI-Z and Raffa's 490, and BigBore's XR5** (580cc?) powered beast...they just blow me away how nicely put together they are.

I have a 295R. Not huge but still a big bore! You have to be crazy if you don't dream about the horsepower gains from a big bore.

Some sweet ass trikes!! I love trikes and all, but the banshee's motor is my favorite. It is my only quad, but it is by far my fastest bike. It did cost a pretty penny, and I still want to do allot more. 370banshee's tri-shee should be bitchin, If I had the guts to try it, that would be my favorite drag trike.

that plan is on the back burner for now... i need to befriend a good fabricator.. haha.... but if and when i finish it.. it'll be pretty quick... i have a 80rwhp passion 12 port setup i'm taking out of my shee to make room for my 421 cub... had the cub for a year.... been in the box since i bought it haha.. i could see one of these making it's way into a Z... haha.. i think nathan already has a tri-shee in the works...

It wouldnt be a 480 would it?:p :) if so then TF 08 most definitly will be very fun, haha. Mine still has a quite few things that need to be done but its slowly getting there. not sure if that counts as a heavy hitter big bore, but its big to me.

I was gonna throw a picture of my klt 110 just to be funny, but I figured I should start acting like my age at some point, haha

Thats a big cylinder!!!!! Think you could get a pic of a stock R cylinder next to it, for size comparison?????

I have a small big bore (ESR330). I never called a bike a big bore unless it was a CR500, but I guess anything over stock is...

the scars in the stator cover are from a Banshee that collided with me in an ice race. I left it there for history sake.
