Yea it doesn't have a big bore but it still gets the job done :)

Next project will be full out drag, but I'm still playing with the motor idea, gsxr1100 perhaps

It was about 50/50 I think. You beat me a few times, 2 or 3 if I remember right, and I think I beat you twice, or something. I can't remember. I spent so much time tweakin on that thing trying to get it faster, and kept throwing the damn chain until I got a new sprocket and chain.

if you didnt mess up your sprocket.. you would have never found that short track tank local..:naughty:

jetting was off and it was loaded up on the line.. waiting for the old man to stage.. trust me it runs nothing like it did at Tf07.. I know how to keep it cleaned out now...Ive had tons of runs on it this summer and it keeps getting faster.. cherrish that vid ronnie it wont happen again ...and you know it ..:twisted:

Sometimes you don't need all that stuff to make your bike fast.. It's all about the set up

True that you can run in th mid to high 4's in the 300ft easy with under 400cc and on gas, my bike has very minimal mods done to it besides the 300r kit good tires proper jetting the right carb and the right pipe and my fastest time was a 5.326.

Yea, I don't want to focus my bike soley on dragging with a big motor set up because it's my rider..
I'm looking soon to start a new project for a drag bike, but my fav idea has always been a 1100cc gsxr motor.. it's street bike conversion for me or no go! If not a 350cc PV or 370cc will have to do if money can come along for it.

Ever since I was a kid and watched the old sandsation videos, there were these 2 trikes that were powered by crotch rockets and man did they look wicked! It's something I always wanted to do.. One day when I have free time Im going to convert the old VHS to my comp and post em up so you all can seee the bikes. They weren't low riding dragers, they were set up for the dunes; nice and high with plenty of power

A 370 would be nice, but it's the top choice so many people have it, I like being different, Ron you know that lol

OH YEAH Brother ... you know it !! i kinda like Running with the "BIG DAWG'S" with my little "ole" wore out Two-Fittie .. :D .. iv'e done ALL of those Strret Bike Thing's ... CBR 750,Suzi 1000,Kawi 750 Tripple,Kawi Tripple 500,RD 250,350,400,Suzi 400 "in a go-cart" ... All in All ... i like to do what you do ... Drag,Hill Climb,Trail Ride,etc. on the same bike ... it's cheaper and FUN !! ..

Nope stock swinger and no wheelie bar just lowered 2 inches in the front, I bought a durablue +2 swinger but I'm waiting till next season to run it.

The bike I just got is going to be the 350 and I'm gonna make a custom +4 swinger and all the mx parts are going on a 300r mx bike I'm building, the durablue is going on my current 300r but I'm in the process of getting some plastic bushings made.

heres my R, ALL custom by me. hybrid cr long rod motor on meth. runs true 4.9's and fastest its ever been was 4.79 in 300ft on dirt. and it is only 269cc's. and this pic is just a mock up of it from this spring, its prettier now.

Thats funny as heck man cause I also had a 97 kx100 last year before powervalve with the purple seat that thing screamed so sick I used to dragrace my buddy on his banshee and It was dead even through every gear of course I had some minor mods.

Yes sir only I had stock pipe and silencer, I bought mine blown up and I put a hotrod connecting rod in it had the head milled and the cylinder needed replaced because it was so scarred but wiseco made a sleeve for it so I went ahead and had it sleeved.
Hey man I noticed your cylinder is olds gold, you know what's really funny when I got my cylinder back from being re-sleeved I painted it and guess what color of engine enamel I used?:lol: :lol: If I can find an old pic of the bike I'll post it up.

haha yea I loved that bike, at one time it was my drag bike too! Before my R of course.. I had a blast with that puppy, and we actually had it rebuilt when we bought it and put to stock size because before it was FULLY decked out and would just blow up. Had a full race pipe and silencer and I would def put a hurting on the competitors.

Olds gold is the color lol We love oldsmobiles too (we got some nice ones also), hint my name ;)

Here's my old 100 this thing was an ANIMAL for it's size, and it really impressed alot of people including me, I wish I still had it. Notice the olds gold cylinder haha it's amazing that we both had the same bike both with olds gold cylinder's what are the odd's?
