View Full Version : these tires work well?
I just picked these up for the fantasticly low price of $60 for the pair (just tires) I had them stretched onto my itp 10x10 rims, there duro 20x11x10, how well do they work? they will be on my 300 air fooler, sometime in the next century or so.... I plan on just doing everyday riding with it, some trails, some sand, no racing

Syko.. I've often wondered about those tires. Are they a real soft compound? I love the looks of them (esc. the old school blue ones) and I bet they slide real well. I dont think they'd hold up to well in the rocky terrian I gotta ride in though. I'm sure they're good for the track, or clay, sand,, etc.
I believe brrcuda is running them on the rear of one of his rides.:wondering

I was thinking of trying those out too. They look like they would slide like crazy! Put them on one of your other trikes and try them out, then let us know.
other trikes? lol!! the flat tracker is in a million peices my 500 project is barely started, and thats it! lol the alt 125 but these wheels wont fit, I guess I could put them on my gf's blaster after i swap hubs.
no there not all that soft way harder than say my fast trackers and that lug is deep!!!

Im thinking Ill be getting a similar tire myself. Sure beats the price of a tri-trac but they also have a MUCH harder compound than the hoosiers do. Would really like to hear some feedback on these as well!!!

I had those on my 200s with the xl185 motor and i loved them..They slid around really good but i still found them great for traction going straight. Overall i loved them:)

those tires work awesome even as an all arounder until you get into something a little slippery, mud wise. You'll like em. They are kind heavy though

I don't know why, put it seems to me that they would work well into snow. OR take a set and put ice screw into them for the ice. I may be totally wrong put with the space left between the tread they will keep the snow and release while turning???

Punch the throttle one a turn and I could whip that 200s in a 360 no problem. Worked real well, even in the mud. if they made them in a larger size (18"s pictured 20"s available) like a 22" I'd probably run them as an all around tire.
In a straight line they tear the turf up pretty easily. They work alot like a paddle in the sand.
mcderry...that machine...looks.....scary! lol!! mad max homie!! so they work well on that? ok now im happy, they should shred well then on my 300 whenever it may get finished.

It was scary for a $50 machine, no brakes, no plastic, etc. But it had a good running engine and DG exhaust which has migrated its way to my nice S model.

they are an excelent hillclimbign tire if you hit them with a tire groover and take every other row of knobs out. but you need soem seriosu power to turn that kinda weight and traction on hills

I have an set of them in the 18" size on my 81 250r and I love them for sliding around. They were a real bear to get the beeds to seat on my ITP rims. I have used them all summer and they seem to hold up well.
