so i been looking at the satellite imaging and the main page.
just wondering how much trail riding is availible,what types of riding there are.
trails (obvious) rough terrain, hills, and whatever else.
any detial on the Poker run, or Devils Backbone?

just trying to get an idea of what im in for, and i cant wait to check it out in person at TF08.

also, any local gas stations?

and can small campers be parked in the midst of the congregation, or do they need to be parked all alone? i want to be in the middle of everyone :D

There is enough trails to get a good full day of riding in. Just gotta know where to find some of them. All kinds of terrain. Check some of the old TF threads for poker run details.

I'm not sure how far to a fuel station. I don't think there are any real close by. We usually bring about 10-12 gallons of fuel with us. You can camp anywhere, with anything that you can find a spot for.

Gas station is about 20-30 minutes away. Definitely enough trails to keep you busy.

sweet. ill prolly wind up all over the trails twice.
would love to wind up with a group and check out some of the more advanced terrain and trails :D

theres some really good spots where you can ride for a hour in just one area..plenty ups and downs in the woods..some areas in the woods open right up with just trees... you can pick any direction and ride.. after a rain it gets real tricky!


When you have a chance to meet about 175 - 250 board members you talk with or read post they have put up, that IMO is the real treasure of TF meets.

sounds like a real treat.
never rode on public trails before.
just been beating around the countryside all my life.

How about you going to haspin before TF 08 and ride all weekend. Then come back for 4 days of TF 08, ride some and meet all of the board members.

hmm. that could work.......i might go this year yet, depending on schedules.
