the first or oldest three wheeler for off road use was the Tote Gote Charger (circa 1950's i believe)....but that was an inline 3 wheeled vehicle....the same company produced a dune cycle..dont know the name but it was the first trike style vehicle for off road....

yes...absolutely...those type off road trikes where the first...but in particular, the Tote Gote Line of off road vehicles did produce the first inline three wheeler and first Trike style 3 hwheeler of which only on eprototype was made...does this make it the true holy grail of trikes? or should does the majority of Our community feel the grail would best be represented by lets say the mythical 87 250R

The Dune Gote...was THE FIRST trike style off road vehicle made.....and only one was known to exist
