250 ES STEERING STOPS.. how far to cut back?

ive just taken 5mm off each side to give me more full lock... good idea u think? should i take more maby? or have i stuffed the forks?

Do you really need "full lock" on a utility trike?! You gonna be racing short track with it or what?

nah mostly just bush tracks and mud, and in the mud i use full lock a hell of a lot, problem is mud flicks off the inside of the front tyre when u got full steer, so im hoping that itll flick it further away, instead of up the inside of my opposite leg. ive thought about a mud guard for this but it would have to be to big to look any good, my concern is that when i hit bumps that flick the front end, like when u ride crooked accross big ruts, that its gonna flick alot harder and further if im not careful, im also hoping it will help with low speed fun like 2 wheeling and doughnuts, i still dont know if it was a good idea or if it will even be noticeable, if it dosnt work il make a stop to get my 5mm back..

ok the verdicts in..... if u cut em off it is better..... except if u try full lock goin slow, youll get a bit of bounce in the rear wheels coz its got a locked diff and im trying to turn so hard, i found one with the stops taken off completly and they had a plastic tank to stop any damage to the original, my steering feels alot more free now especially when im turning, it turns as hard as i want, i wouldnt take any more off with out the plastic tank tho, my forks come within 5mm of the tank now.
