What mm is a 70 carb? I see these cheap ones on ebay and would buy one if I knew the mm was the same. Anyone put one of these on thier 70's? If so what size and did it needed to be rejetted? My 70 is a 84 if they makes a difference. I noticed the lines and choke are on the opposite side on some of these aftermarket carbs, that doesn't bother me as long as it works. Any info would be great.

Im pretty sure that they're 22mm carbs on the 70s. I have a 84 and the carb is tiny, it could even be smaller though. But crf 50s and pitbikes use 22mm alot so I would say 22.

It seems most of them on ebay are 22mm. I wants to buy one and hopefully rid me of my constant flooding problems. I cant get a rebuild kit for a 84 atc 70 here anywhere. They are on back order when I ordered one locally.

Only a 14mm? I have heard of people using them on ct70's without a problem, do you think with a rejet they would work on the atc ok? Going up from a 14mm to a 19mm sounds like a big jump, would there still be a low end?

i am sure you can jet it to work,, but mounting and aircleaner hookup will be different,, if no other work is done to the motor i doubt it will do much at all except be new,, just a thought,,, i have never bought a carb "KIT" there is only one part that MIGHT go bad in a 70 carb,,, that would be the needle ,, ian i have only seen one bad one in 20 years,, usually a thoughral cleaning does the trick,,, just a thought,,,,,,,,,
