Tiger 250 and Converted XR500 Value

I met a guy this weekend that has a Tiger 250. I haven't seen it in person or pictures yet but he says it runs, and I would believe him. He has a couple of 4 wheelers and 3 wheelers and is a local racer and mechanic. He is selling the 3 wheelers, one was the Tiger 250 and the other was a converted XR500 with a built motor and 200X front end and swingarm that is tastefully done. I was wondering what the value of the items would be. If I can get pictures I will post them.

Prices will vary on condition, I have seen Tigers go from 700 to 5000.

Tigers even apart seem to be worth 2 grand plus. Depends on the completeness and condition.

The conversion? Depends how nicely it's done, could be a nick which is worth good money also.

I know the 500 is not a Nick....it was an XR500 frame and motor with the wheeler ends mated to it.

Got the pics....for some reason it won't let me save them to the harddrive. I will do it the old fashioned way tomorrow, scan and post. So the quality won't be very nice. Both pieces look good though. The Honda is very tastefully done.

If thats the same one in Sioux Falls , Ive got pics of it. It has the same aluminum shroud like my first one. It has Honda fenders. The guy painted everything and it looks ok. I will look for the pics and post one. Not the best pic.

The guy had it for sale at the ice races last winter. Its too much for me. Its well worth what he wants for it though. I like to find the ones that the owner doesnt know what it is. Good luck and hope you get it. If you need engine parts, let me know. Also OC on this site may have some parts left from his tiger part out.
