1986 Honda 250 SX ($750 plus $55 gas for him and $40 for me $845 TOTAL)

No issues it has cracked fenders but repaired well seat is also a tad ripped

OR

1987 Yamaha Warrior ($1000 $50 Gas $1050 TOTAL)

Needs bendix eventually he said that it makes noise when you start it but it has for the 12 years he has owned it (does that sound right a bendix)
Only used during hunting season
Suggested new gas and a plug but says it runs well no oil burning or dripping
Straight nothing bent bearings good

I am going  trying to decide.

thats a tough one. I owned my 250 sx before the warrior I presently own. Both are great bikes and are a blast to ride the trails with. Warriors have wiring issues and no back up kick starter just push button electric. the 250sx is a fun bike all around but mine would have starting issues when it would get really wet though.

both sound like good deals! good luck

Go with the sx, my warrior is a pile and it's a 93. Suspesion is shot, frame is bent in the front and it smokes like a whore from singapore on start up. It does still run though. I want to get rid of my warrior. The Sx should at least hold it's value.

I would choose - 250 SX ... They looks sweet & are great on trails !

Can't beat 3 wheels

I think it's an awesome deal. The SX will be better on gas, and it will go more places than the Warrior will. I like the way he mounted that gun boot on there, smart. But it's kinda exposed to rocks if you ride really tough rocky technical trails. If it really has no issues, I'd jump on it.

That is a smokin deal for as nice as that SX is. Jump on it or someone else will!

The SX looks like a fantastic deal and that gun holder, isn't that worth some coin?

I got a kick out of the guy saying in the video that the choke won't hold position  ........they ALL (85 & 6) do that ! In 87 they put two notches in switch so cable will hold position.

How does the 86 250SX and the 86 Big Red compare? Both are utility correct? JUst as I comitted to buying the SX a BR appeared by me same year.

The warrior is an anchor. Heavy as hell and they really dont handle that good.

The SX is more of a sport utility trike than the Big Red.
It looks sportier, has full front forks, and If I remember correctly, longer rear travel.
I would also think that the SX would be a little lighter, and quicker than the Big Red.
Both are great trikes, but if you're looking for something a bit sportier, I'd stick with the SX.

warrior's have a 6 SPEED tranny all years + reverse but i have one and they are not fun to work on they will just make you mad because they are so big and heavy but its up to you warriors are fairly fast but a much better trail bike and with stock suspention they are crap at jumping i have blew so many shocks on mine

The 87 does have a recoil starter tho as do some other years

REALIZE I DONT CLAIM THE WARRIOR ON MY SIG.

got it today! The SX is quite fun.... Runs well.

I am going to sell the 3" spacers and the gun holder.

The plastic is fixed very well and looks pretty good. I am going to try and sell them cheap and get new plastic.

Cool man, looks like you'll have a pretty solid trike when you're done.
