hey im new here and recently got my first 3 wheeler. A tri moto 175. I have a few problems with it. It idles great and all but as soon as i put it in gear it boggs down and dies. Does it with or without muffler, soaked carb in cleaner over night, adjusted clutch. It just doesnt want to move. Im thinking its the float, it kept flooding so i bend the little tab on the float up a bit so that it would close completely, doesnt flood any more. Is this the problem? im running 32:1. This thing has a wiseco piston and hedman headers(what is this?) its in good shape and i want it to run to show my cousin that i can beat his big red, after a good 30 minute agruement over speed.

Congrats on getting a trimoto 175, what plug are you running right now? Right now i'm running a bp6es ngk sport plug and it works good. If your plug is too cold then it will shut off when you kick into gear. So basicly run your trike with bp6es plugs under 15 degress celcious and bp7es over 15 degrees celcious. Also if ure riding in the winter time, pull the coke out and run the trike in neutral for a good 5 mins and rev it up a lil bit to warm it up faster. Oh yeah and the ytm 175 will beat the big red lol. And if u run the trike without the pipe u will mess up the rings and u will loose power.
