Carbon Fiber 250R Headlight Shells ....ARE IN!!!!!!

HEy guys, just wanted to get a list going for the carbon fiber rear fenders.

I want to get this list going then see if tammy and rob would take care of this order like they did for the fenders and shrouds.

What is the intrest in CF Headlight shrouds?

So start the list up. Ill talk to tammy and see what the price is. Shipping will be higher due to finding a box big enough. As you all know, we need the 10 sets to make an order.

Hey guys, i'll get you the prices today. I will call around and see if I can purchase boxes for the rears. With the other orders, I was able to find boxes that would fit. But, the rears would be tough, these will have to be purchased. Plus, having them all ready will prevent not having enough or running out.

Aka am: the carbon fiber is black plastic with the carbon fiber look printed on it.

lets go after the headlight housing next it shouldent be that spendy.... then some time after the holidays go after the rear fenders. the shipping on the rear fenders might be costley. you can ship mine to deepa and if i ever go riding with him again i can collect them then. LOL

Ok, I got the prices for you guys....

The headlight shell (85 style) will be $59.02 which includes the shipping Maier will charge, to get them to me. These things don't weigh much, so the standard Priority Mail cost would only be an additional $4.60. So the total for the shell would be $63.62 shipped to you.

The rear fenders...
These will be expensive. These will be $226.56 (which includes the shipping from Maier). The shipping cost to each person, will vary due to the size. So if you guys decided to do this, the best thing to do is pm me your zip for shipping. I tried to get some estimates last night, and it varies so much, it would depend on your location.
Now, if you live near someone else who also wants a set, you can save on shipping by having more than one set shipped to one location.

The 250R front fenders and headlight these guys are getting will work on your 200x. not sure about the rears tho.

like chris said, some of this stuff might work for you but it's intended for the 85/86 250R's. You could order some for your 200x im sure, BUT you have to order like 10 of each item i believe before maier will make them for you.

go measure the distance between the front forks and ill go and compare it with my 250r...

the headlight uses 4 straps to strap to the forks unlike the 200x ones, but as long as the shell fits inbetween the forks you should be set.

I got your PM D! but im running a number plate and really dont like the look of the 85 shrouds so im saving up for the rear fenders.

im still a "maybe" guys. I for sure want 2 shrouds, but i just had my last day at this job and im starting my new job on wednesday the 2nd. It will probablly be a 3 weeks? maybe before i have steady income and can afford them. i wanted to pay a few weeks ago but had an un expected vet bill. I keep reminding myself about this order so i dont miss out......I hope i dont miss out, i already have front fenders and shrouds

Goat,the straps are still available OEM and On ebay.
You can get the shell,and straps.
But you will have to find the 85 R lense and wire up the bulb socket to fit the 200x.
I do not know if the 85 200x light lense was the same as a 85 250R.
I think the 85 R headlight lense/housing is discontinued.You would have to find one used .

you would have to order 10 of everything before they would consider making them. This is all for the 85-86 250r's but you might be able to make it work on other machines. We have already got the front fenders and tank shrouds. Now we are going for the headlights and next is going to be the rear fenders.

I can't remember if the stuff I already have came with the stupid little Maier stickers that don't like to come off. Can you request that any of the CF stuff from now on does not come with any stickers? Especially the rear fenders (the black number plates). I hate the white outlines on their number plates.

Nope, only the front fender and headlight. And... The 250R headlight itself will need a different bulb because the 85 200X has a lighting coil without a regulator.

Badass KFX,Sorry these took longer than expected.We did not have enough orders as of the end of Janurary,So we went ahead bought the last one to get the order in.Actually we bought 2 extras also.
Here are some pics then.The one pic shows that you have to trim the shell to allow room for you light guard to fit.They did not trim them enough from the factory.So if you want your guard on there,you will have to trim them up a bit.

oh boy, im getting excited now :D i guess i gotta TRY and save for some rear fenders. i'm going to check on some engines tomorrow so i might be low on cash for a little while AGAIN. They are supposidly NOS 350x engines but the teacher doesnt know what they are. :D :lol:
