There are not a whole lot of trikes in North Texas as well. I am almost on the border in the Mckinney area. There are about five in our group. I would like to get a group together.

Im not central but actually in the N.E corner of Texas in a town called Atlanta. I am not totally alone up here in my corner but there are few and far between as far as trikes. Perhaps we need to set something up for a spring time event? There are a few riders on .ORG that would likley be interested as well.

I am game for the Spring. I will chat with everyone else. I am hoping the 200X is put back together by then. I also offroad and take my streetrod to car shows...so the Winter is packed with fixing things up.

What is that near?

They are out in West Texas, About 45 miles west of Odessa. Its about 9 sq. miles of dunes.:naughty: The town of Kermit isnt much there is a few motels, A Sonic, D.Q, and a Grocery Store. But, I would say probly some of the best riding Texas has to offer.
You can go to www.kermitsandinc.com or www.westtexasduners.com for more info on it. All of us in Tx should get together out at the dunes sometime. I will be going Christmas night. Its going to be a blast!!!! Yall should come check it out.

I think that its around 7-8 for me as well. Not that I am against it or anything, but what are our options?

I'm in town (Atlanta) with Lomax, I've got an '85 Big Red. I've been craving a roadtrip for a while myself.

Alright everyone I picked up a state map with several posted riding area's on it. Are we going to go for a sport trike ride or are we going to go play on trails and mud? There are 2 Corps. of engineers locations, 3 motocross tracks and 26 other locations all over texas that this map shows.

Here is a picture of the map. the yellow marks
(squares) indicate a riding area. I know you cant really read everything very well but i couldnt get a better picture and still get the whole state in it. Oh, I bought the map at Wal-Mart on the clearance isle for like a $1.
This map is kinda old so some of the riding area's may no longer be open or under the same name. Phone numbers are included so we can always call and check.

We are in the process of putting together a huge ride in the Spring. Muenster is our destination and we plan on camping. Just throwing that out there!
