I have a few questions about my 350x. I have changed the front and back bearings & seals, swingarm bearings, rear brake pads, put on a seat cover, covered the front brake line with blue wiring conduit, tank cover, chrome master cylinder guard, and a tether. I have the stock mud flap coming soon.

My questions are:
Has anyone heard of the steering stem bearings going bad? When I have no weight on the trike there seems to be a little play in there. I know it isn't the front wheel because I chocked the bike and tried like hell to make it rattle and it won't.
How can I clean up the white fenders (I tried soap & water, sprays and nothings gets them white again)?
How can I get the fork boots back to blue? After I put that blue conduit on you can really see how dark they are.

I need help :( . Thanks.

interesting front brake line cover.. anyway.. did you try bleachwhite on the fenders? is the nut on the top of the steering stem tight>? perhaps it loosened up and a ball or 2 fell out? usually they will not wear out.. (and your bike looks clean, so i doubt it).. maybe pull it apart and repack w grease and tighten it back down.. see where your at then..

I would have to say it's time for a steering stem inspection. It's very possible you won't need new bearing just a good cleaning and repacking.

I'm not very good cleaning plastic so I won't comment there.

yes steering stem bearings go bad. if you replace them use tappered bearings sold through dennis kirk they are cheaper and ten times better.

i found that "jungle jake" works the best for white plastic its a commercial degreaser mix it 50/50 with water hose your trike off first then spray it with JJ and watch it disolve the dirt

some scrubbing with some steel wool may help the plastics ?

White is the worst to get clean, but Greased Lightning is a spray on degreaser that works well too.
