Ronnie, since the conception of this board over a decade ago, very few people have been awarded there very own STICKY -YAMAHONDAMAN. That in itself clearly states the appreciation and recognition this board has for you.

I'm a machinist myself, yet only conventional. Got ma a SB lathe and a Bridgeport but I can't do what you can. If I could, I'd be building and developing stuff for ATC's too but I don't have and was never exposed to CNC. It's both a talent and an art and very respected by myself.

how much for the lakota?? my ex-brother in law has one that he f's up all the time,, that i have to fix due to good nature... it would be easier on me and save my time just to have a good parts machine around,, rather then pull it apart and wait for parts... i also have trades to offer up,,,, we need a reason to get together and RIDE!!

if tf and 3ww is family oriented then adult materials should be kept out. I don't have kids, but if I did I would prefer they not be exposed to adult content. as far as kids seeing it no matter what, I disagree...there are a lot of parents that limit what their kids see on tv, in movies, and where they go on the internet, which makes this issue a big deal to them...3ww represents a family oriented site so parents assume the content does not include adult pics, subjects, language, or materials. imo if you represent a family oriented site you should respect the most conservative members opinions more than the most liberals.

Ive thought a lot about this, well since TF07. I hope it isnt something that ends up dividing 3ww or TF for years to come, but honestly I dont think that there is a solution to the problem.
I personally dont feel that TF is very family oriented, some of you do and thats fine. I think this, as well as other things that have been argued about concerning TF and what goes on there (as well as the site for that matter) is a question of personal ethic, and what they deem as appropriate/ unappropriate for them or their family...
Obviously people have different feelings on what is acceptable for them, or their famly for that matter, and that is what is in question here.
Ronnie, you seem like a super guy.. and are a top contributer for our sport - I hope you dont see any of the negative comments here as a personal attack, because I truly dont feel that it is.
Im guilty of saying or posting some stuff on here that I definitely shouldnt, I just forget that its not just me viewing the board, but everyone else from all different age groups as well. I just hope everyone can an atleast respect each others values for years to come, and the values they have established for their family- whether any one thinks they are ok or not- its just a matter of respect I guess. Ah Im just starting to ramble, I just hope this kind of stuff doesnt keep people coming to events like this. Would you show this doll and or to your kids if they were 8-12 years old? It's not that I am trying to personally bash anyone in particular, I mearly pointing out how I honestly feel. First off there is a major difference between that picture and a 3 wheeler. If you don't know that then you really need to go back to 1st or 2nd grade to learn that ( I try to assume your older than a 1st or 2nd grader ).
2nd, I have software and hardware on my computer that doesn't allow such webs sites to show up. But as it's going this web site will be on the do not allow list as well.

Well, it will be too bad if some of the long timers aren't there. This is the 1st year I actually have etched in stone that I'm going. My best bud went last year and that got my gears turning.

I was really hoping to meet the guys that had been here awhile amongst others.

hell all i wanna know is why ronnie wants out ? or does he ? if he leaves thats not a good thing. he keeps our machines looking and running great. the guy has more skill in his thumb than we all do together.


i hate to see all our "old timers" leave. i dont know them personally but they are a great help to us and our sport. half (not all but a few) of the newer members come on 3ww to get their machine running and then we wont hear from them ever again. thats as bad a cherry picking in back yard basketball. i dont know if thats why some of the older members are leaving or not but thats why i haven't bin doing to much posting lately.

yea about that picture... i agree there are worse things online, tv, movies and so on but i do think howdy made a rite choice on getting it out of here. although it was funny as hell. but i know a few people that can only get online at work and their work has filters that wont let them on "dirty" sites. one picture can make it if they get on the site or not. so i do see the reason they need to keep that stuff out as much as they can.
