What year XR200 or XR200R intake manifold will fit on a 1984 200X, and XR200 or XR200R carb? thanks.

I believe all the years... the 200X and XR 200 heads are identical I believe.

I only know that the 1990 model was a direct swap....

I have an '84 XR200 intake and yes it bolts right up perfectly, but the angle is all wrong in the 200X frame. So a 1990 has the correct angle?

We went to put just the carb on but the intake hole was smaller. So, I took off the intake from the XR and it was nearly identical. No alignment or length problem at all.

I've had a XR200R 26mm carb for awhile, but have never been able to use it. I know something could be fabricated, but I was hoping to find an intake that works without modification. That's good to know there is one that will work.

for an 83-85 200x, or an 86-87? will it fit in the frame with no mods to the air box, or parts ? all you have to do is stretch the intake boot right?

1990XR 200 fits 83-85 200X (probably lots of other years too) and you stretch the boot from the air box to the now larger back of the carburetor.

I haven't found ANYTHING to fit the 86/87 200X and they have a bad problem in cracking so keep your eyes open. I assumed I'd have to make something up.....

so, can someone give me a year range on which xr200 manifolds will bolt up to a 200x engine and xr200 carb with no problems. will a 1991 xr200 manifold work? also what would be a better carb for a 84 200x with a 10.25:1 wiseco, 26mm 27mm, or 30mm? and are those "no name" carbs any good on ebay? thanks.
