1985 Honda Big Red 250 problems

1985 Big Red

1st:
Won't fire,has no spark.It this the cdi box or something else?

2nd:
Something in the motor turns after the bike is shut off,what could this be?

3rd:
It jumps when put into gear,(it's not idleing to high).\

4th:
Where can I find cheap but nice parts for this?

1. could be. what have you ruled out?
2. my guess is starter or kicker related
3. Clutch springs. How bad? does it "jump" or "lurch"?
4. Part price/quality differs per retailer. Check dennis kirk, rmatv, dratv, the classifieds, etc

1..you will have to go through the process of eliminating or should say trouble shooting as described in the repair manual
2.. thats normal
3..they all jump a tid bit..could be adjusted too high
4.. e bay or the classifieds here


and by all means dont post you dont have a repair manual :lol: :lol:
