Well after seeing 250rfans mint honda with all the aftermarket goodies it got me to wondering who has built or is in the process of building a mint decked out 86/87 t3.....you know westcoast swinger, rare pipe, UFO airbox, plate, hoosier tires, suspension etc etc etc all the goodies that would take forever to list. I know Tunes has all the pieces to build one if he hasnt already....who else and :pics: :pics: :pics: please.

Will OC,

I unfortunately dont have one (yet :naughty: ), but the T3 pictured here with the CALFAB is my favorite so far, i actually inquired about buying this bike when KASEY posted it on this forum - i got no reply from him!, found that strange at the time, but it makes perfect sense now since i've been on the forum for 18 months or so.:)

Okay, let me get this right, you have an 86 & an 87 , or your converting an 86 to an 87 with aftermarket parts?

I have a super nice 86 but have an 87 T3 with a crate full of NOS to put on it that I have been collecting for years including all NOS OEM plastics, coolant bottle, axle, sprocket ahhhhh to much to list a whole crate full!!! When I finish that then I may convert my 86 to a restored modded if I can find the right stuff.....I'm looking ahead as the several years of building the tigers should be wrapped up by spring

Well this certainly isnt my trike, but the owner did let me ride it at Trikefest last year:) This is Mik6's 87 Tecate, I know this one had a bunch of neat stuff done to it, but all I can remember off the top of my head is the custom extended swingarm, the tank cover and number plate but I think there were a bunch of other cool add ons. Mike, hope you dont mind me posting a picture or two of that sweet T3 you got.

I should also add that these pictures were taken by Mike from motolenz photography, just to give credit where credit is due

I can shoot you pics of the 86 The 87 is now a stripped roller as I had big plans for it before the word TIGER sucked all the life out of me. I have identified all the differences having both

87 has keyed ignition and different decals
Rolled edges on the wheels which are powdered silver instead of brushed alumin
Has parking brake
The handle bar clamp covers
Different headlight frame to accept the Key
Different decals

Well not a whole lot of aftermarket goodies, but here is my 87 with an extended swinger, 300 big bore kit, aftermarket radiator shrouds:D , and a tank cover. I took this a couple of years ago when I took it to the silver lake sand dunes. The other is my long time project Trike that I hopefully will have complete by summer.(yeah heard that before:lol: )
