hears some pics of Porter Race Products framed trx250r. the frame is the 1st one they ver biult for testing i got it for $600.

the second pics is of the 2000 yz dirt bike front caliper i swapped ti the rear.

here is another pic of the 88 honda 250x i got on ebay for $380. dont have spark is what the guy told me is wrong with it. has good compression and the cable is broke so it's hard to kick. i weigh 260 and i have to Harley kick it. mite have a 12 to 1 piston

is the trx frame alluminum?

no its not aluminum it's chromoly steel. round tubing. the bottom frame rails are .125 wall and the rest is .090. the frame will outlast me. It has a removeable subframe like the new 450's

the stock 250r frames are mild steel and only around .075 wall tubing.

sweet how much heavier? a buddy of mine has a blue andonized aluminum frame for his trx 250r thats why i ask.

it's about $10 heavier at the most but i'll live with that for duability.

lonestar made those aluminum ones i think:wondering i heard they break real quick if you use them for mx.
