when you all rebuild the top ends on your trikes do you go with the cheaper aftermarket brands (are they trustworthy) or do you play it safe and use oem. Thanks:wondering

Oem is nice but some aftermarket brands are better than other. I've always had good luck with vesrah. If the bike is a really expensive rebuild or restore, factory would be best if available.

OEM gaskets are best, if you do go aftermarket Vesrah is pretty good as they actually make gaskets for some manufacturers.

Vesrahs are great. I actually believe they're the same as stock Yamaha. I do know if you run a higher compression piston in your 4-stroke the vesrah head gasket will start to weep.
