I was thinking about adding another trike to the collection. It is a 1982 atc 250r. It has been sitting for 8-10 years covered by a tarp under a car port in Mississippi. I asked the owner when he was going to blow the dust off and take it for a ride. He said he had no interest in riding anymore. Trike is all original fenders, seat and tank look ok. I am sure it will need tires, brake work, carb clean and an air filter to make it worthy to ride. The owner said just to make a fair offer so I would like to get some opinions from fellow trikers. Thanks, Mikey

I'd say 500 would be a fair price too, as long as it's all there.

Thanks for the advice. I wish it were an 85 or 86 model but beggers can not be choosers. I think I could live with an 82. Mikey

Well I made the purchase 250.00. when I arrived at the owners house he asked if that was fair and the rest is history. It needs tires, carb clean and brakework. Motor has good C and the inside of the fuel tank is perfect. I hope to have it going by the weekend. I will post pics soon.

Didn't quite work, I'm not sure what you did, but I made a little screenshot to help..
Once you've uploaded the picture on photobucket, click on it and you will come to a screen that looks like the one in my pic... Once you're there click on the box in the red circle. Once you do that it'll say "copied" and you come into you post, right click, and "paste" it into your post.

Well how about some good news. I drained the carb added fresh fuel and she fired right up and runs perfect. I will need to due major brake work because both front and rear are froze. Once I take care of brakes and tires then I will worry about cosmetics.http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/ii102/boogerachy/100_1440.jpg

I might have to let it sit in the garage for a while until I finish my atc 70.
