Sweet idea, but theres gotta be a better way to do it, drive the tracks from the center or the bottom, instead of the top. Still, the kid had a dream, he did it, and it ended up working out well for what it is. Gotta give him props for that.
I definitely appreciate his ingenuity and for fulfilling his dream, but that's just a disaster waiting to happen. It looks like a strong wind could blow him over.

It is a good idea, but i think with much more than 6 or 8 inches of snow, that thing wont be able to turm, and that ski will just become a plow and dig in. Still impressive though nonetheless.

I think if he lowered it & put the stock front wheel back on he'd be able to maneuver it better, but still it's SICK SICK SICK!

I think it is awesome. Great job of actually doing it. You can now make improvements as needed.

i got buddies who just wrap skidoo tracks around their tires and they have a set up to hook a ski in the front under the tire
this is on 200 big reds

if it were me and i had the money why not just buy the track kits the make for quads and bolt em up on the back of the trike then rig a ski up front...but that is very cool...

I think it was mentioned in the beginning of the video, it was a school project that involved tracks.
I think its really cool, reguardless of flaws..............

Did you notice around 1:21 that the whole front end of that machine is flexing sideways? Man, that kid is gonna get hurt bad when the headtube snaps off! It looks awesome though. Nice work but poor engineering.

here you go. this kit will bolt up to a honda 4/110 bolt pattern. the ski would be very easy to mount up with some decent skills from a machinest. i havent had it on my r but suspect it would push in the corners from all the traction in the rear. but then who realy stears with the front tires any way...:beer

I like the idea, but its pretty stupid. That thing is not even functional. You can't tell me you would actually ride that thing. Sorry, don't mean to sound like a jerk but, if your going to do something extreme, do it right!

While I"m not knocking the guys creativity, the final result was horrible.

I think the video was short because it broke in half. Nice try but I hope he stays in school a while longer.
