86 350x

So i have a friend with an 86 350x. He needs cash pretty bad for christmas. The bike runs good no smoke although the carb needs tweaked a little, all bearings tight, all original, brakes are good. tank it pretty good, Seat good with a lil fading no rips, Garnish is good, rear fender, headlight, and front fender is cracked alot and ziptied together. What would you guys/gals say its worth. I have a couple pics! oh and he said he would through in a 81 250r parts bike! Are there any parts on their worth saving?

I would say its worth an easy grand givin it has a current title.

People say " a picture is worth a thousand words...." Not so true in the used ATV/ATC market.

Certainly looks to be in decent shape but how does it run and sound? If that motor is fairly silent I'd snatch it up. Cosmetics are cheap and straight forward. But motor problems can be hidden and EXPENSIVE!! Listen for noise, check the chain area for damage as well as the drain plug and look for screwdriver pry marks on the case/topend and signs of FORM-A-GASKET.
