Well I finally worked out my West Coast swinger pivot bearing problems. I had to go 1mm smaller than OEM and machine 1mm off the inside of the pivot arm, now I'm looking to get my 01 Raptor shock going.

I mounted the shock upside down and with the swapping of some shock bushings I had laying around it mounted up nicely with no slop or movement. I didn't have to drill either mount, I'm very pleased.

I want to mount the rezzy in the Tecate holder. The only way I could hook it up presently was using the old rezzy connected to the new shock. The old line is still too short. The old rezzy is pretty funky and I'd like to use the Raptor rezzy. I was thinking about using a stainless steel braided brake line, but I was told the shock line is bigger than brake lines. Maybe I'll give Works a call and see if they have anything. I'm going to get the shock rebuilt after I get the mounting figured out. Anyone know a good shock guy?

That's starting to look like a real nice ride. I don't know what you can do about the hose. I run mine right side up with the short Craptor hose attached to the frame. I don't know if I would be able to run an airbox on mine though.(never tried it) Wish I could help. I can't wait to see your t3 when it's done.:beer

It is basically a hydraulic line right?
I asked about a new brake line once and some guys said you can have custom hydraulic lines made to fit about anything mechanical.

check out FCR suspension, there link is in my sig, they are doing my 250R shock, and they are also lenghtening the line for me as well.

How did you mount the chain slider on the Westcoast swingarm? My Westcoast didn't have any mounting points for the chain slide.

$85 for a shock service and new seal kit, a new hose would be additional plus shipping. I've sent dirtbike forks to FCR before, never again, hope you have better luck than I did with them.

When doing this mod do you need to change the rezzy hose to the tecate oem? Can a rezzy shock run upside down with no difference? I like the idea of using the rezzy shock. I have seen that the 2001 rear craptor shock works best?
How much shorter is the rezzy line, and can it be hooked up differently?
