Well I finally worked out my West Coast swinger pivot bearing problems. I had to go 1mm smaller than OEM and machine 1mm off the inside of the pivot arm, now I'm looking to get my 01 Raptor shock going.
I mounted the shock upside down and with the swapping of some shock bushings I had laying around it mounted up nicely with no slop or movement. I didn't have to drill either mount, I'm very pleased.
I want to mount the rezzy in the Tecate holder. The only way I could hook it up presently was using the old rezzy connected to the new shock. The old line is still too short. The old rezzy is pretty funky and I'd like to use the Raptor rezzy. I was thinking about using a stainless steel braided brake line, but I was told the shock line is bigger than brake lines. Maybe I'll give Works a call and see if they have anything. I'm going to get the shock rebuilt after I get the mounting figured out. Anyone know a good shock guy?
