obviously, other then the displacement, what are the differences between the bikes? i am pretty sure they all use the same bottom end (this is the case with Kawi KX 80-100)

i am curious on the rest of the bike. is the bike all the same, or do the bikes get bigger with the motors?

i am looking to get a small 2 stroke bike, but am not sure what to get. i am a full sized person, but i HATE big bikes. i tried to ride a 250 aggressively once, and about died.......i can hang with most riders sporting a 250 on something small like an 80, at least on trails and track. i can take turns way harder than anyone would believe.

so, basically, are the cr80, 85 and 100 all on the same bike chassis?
i LOVE the way the KX-80 feels, but i like the CR look better, so im going to assume they are close to the same bike dimensionally. i want an 80, but if the cr100 is in the same chassis, then that bike will do better hauling my ass around, without sacrificing the smallness i have grown to love.

anyone have any riding experience with any small 2 stroke bike? i just want something that will accelerate hard and NOT be BIG lol.

No such thing as a CR100 is there?

Looing to off my KX250 chassis the summer and get a smaller KX100 or KX85.

Seat height is around 36/37 inches and suspension is setup for 80lb riders from the factory. This is the KX not the CR but basicly the same dimensions.

The CR comes in "Expert" which is a larger wheelset, you'd want that setup since there is no CR100. At least not with a stock bore.

Hope that helped.

helped a lil. i looked into it, and there aint a cr100 lol. im thinkin a cr85 expert or a kx100. depends on the size of the bikes. i could easily get a 125 but its too big.

If I was going to buy a smaller displacment dirtbike I would get a KX100. Im
5 10, 185 lbs and a KX 100 can pull me around ok. I would install a pipe and maybe some stiffer springs but other than that there quite fun.

ive owned all 3. my vote is the KX...the 80 and 100 are the same thing but i would get the kx100. i do not like the cr80's much...the motors are the same back until 86.... i owned a 96kx80 and a 91 kx80 bigwheel bored out to a 100. they were sweet machines.

a FMF gold pipe/silencer on a KX80 makes a 100% difference.......i rode one before and after the pipe, and the bike was WAY better with a A.M. pipe.

so the KX80 and KX100 are the same bike with different top ends, correct?

yeah.

they still make them also unlike honda. a kx100 is a nice bike if you get a ims large fuel tank...and lime green looks so cool haha.

same chassis, 90% of the parts are the same...100 is just more powerful.
