ok, since i have went from my 250 to my 300 top end, i cant really decide if i have gained or lost power. i thought that it would pull the tire off the ground no problem hitting third, but now it seems reluctant (cant really remember, i get used to power fast)
the most noticable thing that changed with the 300 kit was the powerband. before, it was a very smooth, VERY wide powerband. before, it never really HIT the powerband as it seemsed to always be in the powerband. now it seems narrower and it seems to HIT.
i tried to do a compression check, and i got about 150 lbs, but i dont think i had the hose tight on the plug hole.
what is the highest compression range i can run on pump gas? i thought it was around 190, but im not sure. i dont want it right on the edge, but about 7 to 10 psi below the race gas threshold.
if i have this done, i will probably have the jug ported for aggressive trail/dune riding as well.
just wondering if i should have it ported by PR racing (local shop) or send the jugout to someone? any suggestions? anyone dealt with that FLOTEK company run through E2S site? i want a good port job without breaking the bank.
