I have read alot on the dail-a-jet here. I do/plan to do alot of trail riding in the higher elavations like 4500 to maybe 5000ft range. I like forest riding personally. Also some high desert riding. I was reading the Thunder products wesbite and was wondering if this is really that good? I live by the "If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is". I would like all opinions on this before I drop the $ for it on our 3 family members.

Thanks

i thought the dial-a-jet was for fine tuning (like a few jet sizes) and not for big ajustments?

I bought a kit a while back, and am also skepticle.

The info on the thunderjet site seems to good to be true. The only people Ive had respond on this topic said it worked good.

Mine is still in the box........................................

I had one on a Z of mine, worked awesome. It's for more than fine tuning. It adjusts for mods, elevation changes, and the climate. If you change altitude too drastically there is a knob that lets you lean or richen more. Well worth the $.

Hey Chris,

Sorry, gonna put it on a bike sooner or later. Might be the Z, might be the X, who knows.

Keep an eye out on ebay, you can find a good deal there better then the dealer site.

Good luck buddy :beer
