200x rear axle replacement

I'm going to start slowly getting my X up to proper standards and I ran across a few things. The one I'm more curious about, are there any current rear axles that will fit on my X without mods or is it better to search and find an original axle?

as far as i know, nothing interchanges with an 83-85 200x axle. you could get an extended durablue one, but their $489.70:eek: http://durablue.com/pandp.php?cat_name=Axles
