Have you ruled out any other carb issues? All passages clear?

The best way to check the level is to remove the carb so you can hold it level in your hand. With the float bowl off and the float in place, blow through the fuel supply line and you will hear the sir comeing through the float seat. Slowly raise the float up with your hand and the air should stop flowing through. If so, the float is set ok, and will stop the flow of fuel when the float raises.

I just sent ya a PM regarding another matter.

not sure eternally what is done has newer gaskets like someone has been into it the compression feels good haven't checked it yet though uni air filter stock jetting with no spark arrester just straight pipe, i have the stock one for it but its bent up pretty bad i think it could be bent back and put on though, thats about all i can say it starts easy has no rattles or smoke and will run but at acceleration it stutters just like its not getting enough fuel, but its getting the fuel to the carb

Could the vent hose on the gas cap be stopped up? Also, do you get good fuel flow if you have the gas "on" and open up the float bowl drain screw? I would also take the jets out and make sure they are clear, pilot and main. And make sure the air filter is clean. Good luck.
