So I did a search on here and have been reading for an hour. Seems like the whole board is torn. Huffa swears by Kreem, Howdy is a Red Kote guy and lot's say POR-15 is supposed to be good, but I couldn't find someone that actually posted afterwards stating if the POR-15 really worked good.
I recently picked up a 85 110 and it has rust in the tank. Not too bad and I could probably just clean it, but I want to coat it and be done.
So wants the verdict? I am sorta leaing towards the POR-15 or Red Kote. In my reading, I saw alot of comments about the Kreem coming off. Price is not an issue. Just want something that can be easily done myself and last.

I think allot of guys don't like KREEM, and allot of guys seem to like Red Kote.

Remember - the red coats are coming, the red coats are coming, the red coats are coming, the red coats are coming, the red coats are coming, the red coats are coming, the red coats are coming LOL!!!!!

I've used red kote and the thing I like about it is that you don't have to remove all the rust, just get the loose stuff out and use it to seal your tank. Looks cool too, gives it a wet and shiny, clear red look on the inside of the tank...not that it really matters. I've heard good things about the por-15 product as well but for kreem I'm pretty sure you have to completely remove all the rust, and that's where alot of people have problems with it peeling off later.
