350x/200x Headlight Removal

I sold the 350x headlight assembly to another member (the one mounted on my 86 200x), and it appears to be wired to my stock harness.. there doesnt seem to be a connector I can simply detach.
Will taking this off mess with my electrical system? Do I need to splice any wires together or can I simply cut the headlight wires off and secure the ends so they do not make contact with each other?

You should be able to snip them off with out any problems. You might want to dissconnect your rear tail light, so it don't blow.
